Web design

We’ll need some content and stuff

There’s no point in having a website if you don’t have any content, and the amount of content you have will determine how many web pages you’ll need. Typically a new business will start off with a single page website, which grows in line with the business.

Before I can start, I’ll need the files containing your logo and all the other images, videos and graphics that you’d like to display. You might also have some PDF files for your customers to download. Ideally you’ll already have written the content for your website, but if you haven’t then I can write this for you.

Testimonials are super important these days, so hopefully you’ll be able to provide some which you can proudly display on your website.

You’ll also need to let me know which keywords you’d like to rank for with the search engines, so that I can make sure your content is optimised accordingly.

And then I can work my magic

Your website will be built using WordPress. If you’d like to read more on this, I’ve written a blog post giving 5 reasons why I use WordPress.

The look and feel will complement your company’s branding, and a simple menu bar at the top of each page will make navigating your website easy-peasy.

The website will be responsive, meaning that it will look great on any sized screen, from mobile to PC and everything in between.

A contact form will be included, making it easy for your prospects to get in touch. And an interactive Google map can also be displayed to help your customers locate you.

If you use social media to promote your business, then your website can be integrated with these.

As well as delivering great looking websites, Mike understands how to optimise the design for SEO, which is so important these days.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

SEO is all about getting your website to rank with Google, and I will ensure that your website is fully optimised for this.

Once your website is live I can submit your sitemap to Google, and then set your website up for Google Analytics so that you can see lots of different metrics like how often your site is appears in Google’s search results, how many visitors your site attracts and so on.

Functionality will also be included so that you can manage exactly how your site appears in the search engine results pages.

Next steps

If you’d like to give me a call, we can discuss your website requirements. I’ll then be able to give you a quote, and once that’s been agreed I can start working on your new website.
